Art Talk Radio Show #4

We had a great show yesterday, if you missed it just click play on the player to your left.

Angie Wenke of Heartland Graphics shared her tips on creating a good website (if you would like the print out please email me: jackson.niki@googlemail.com subject line: websites worksheet) and her grungy tag project:

Tea Staining

Place 6 tea bags into a glass casserole dish with HOT to BOILING
water.

Let your tea bags seep about 15 minutes to get the darkness you
like!
Then add your fragrance oil or scent that you choose!
Next add your
hang tags and let them sit between 2-3 minutes until you get the color you
like

Then add them to a stainless steel cookie sheet in the oven for about 15
minutes at 200 degrees

Variations:
Instead of tea bags you can use instant coffee grounds or
instant tea grounds

You can add vanilla for your scent

You can sprinkle with cinnamon before putting tags into the oven

Wendy Humphreys was here talking to us about what tools we need to begin jewelry making and I talked about supplies you need for mixed media collage and art journaling and I also gave out some great social network links to check out.
